Frequently Asked Questions

Is CBD/Hemp Oil illegal?

CBD oil, as long as it is extracted from hemp, is legal in most countries worldwide, as it contains low levels of THC (0.3%). This is the compound that gets you high, and that is illegal in most countries. Hemp is considered a controlled substance but can be used in skincare items, natural beauty products, clothing and cooking ingredients.

CBD products derived from hemp are no longer considered Schedule I drugs under the federal Controlled Substances Act, but they still remain in a legal grey zone. There are changes underway on federal and state levels that will ultimately clarify the laws and regulations related to CBD-based products and sales. Despite that, they’re widely available in nearly every state and online.

It is the customer's duty to check on the legal status of CBD in your own country or state before purchasing our products.

What does Hemp do exactly?

Hemp helps to support our body in maintaining homeostasis. It does this by interacting with our endocannabinoid system – a hugely important system in all human and animal bodies that is involved in helping to control functions such as your mood, appetite, sleep and immune response by helping to bring about balance in our bodies.

Hemp seed oil comes from the small seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant. The seeds do not contain the same levels of compounds as the plant itself, but they still have a rich profile of nutrients, fatty acids, and useful bioactive compounds.

Full-spectrum hemp oil that also contains plant matter may add other effective compounds, which may help with certain health issues, such as inflammation, cancer, skin and heart complications and chronic pain.

What is the difference between Cannabis, Marijuana and Hemp?

All are actually cannabis plants. However, hemp or industrial hemp is a term commonly used for cannabis strains that contain very low levels of THC – to be precise below 0.3% THC. Marijuana, in general, is a word used for plants that contain high amounts of THC.

Our grandfathers did not know anything about THC (that it is psychoactive) and were just growing cannabis and calling it hemp. It’s only in modern times that the definition of hemp means low levels of THC.

On street level, when a cannabis plant is analyzed it’s found to contain 1%-22% THC. Cannabis products can even contain up to 98% THC.

    Does Cannabis have medicinal properties?

Historically, it is famous for its use as medicine. There are also many clinical trials that show some effects and there are new ongoing trials. Millions of people are using it already, claiming it helps them in one way or another. There is already medicine on the market made from cannabis that has been through clinical trials that is approved for sales.

Can I fail a drug test due to Hemp?

Our full-spectrum Hemp products do not contain THC, despite originating from the same Hemp plant.

Please ensure you talk with your employer before taking Hemp/CBD products, if you are concerned about drug testing, and don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team if you have any further questions.

    Can Cannabis cause allergic reactions?

In rare cases, individuals may be allergic to certain natural compounds. For example, terpenes are molecules that are in many foods and cosmetics and are known to trigger allergic reactions in a very small percentage of people. However, if you suffer from this rare allergy, it is extremely likely that you will already be aware of it.

Does CBD have any drug interactions?

Yes, there is a possibility that there can be drug interaction while using CBD with other drugs. However, it is advised to consult with your physician if you’re planning to take CBD with your current medication.
